everyday is special.

indeed so...

spent last friday with ahmeii. went down to chinatown to check out some travel deals to bintan.. think the prices were on the steep side, so i guess we'll just settle for a chalet here in mid july?? or a bbq nite perhaps.. nth has been confirmed, but it really sounds quite fun! hm, the rest of the day we walked ard chinatown and had lunch at this chao ji gigantic hawker centre, and then headed to town.. gr8 day it was:)

saturday was a family outing to the z.o.o! unfortunately quite a few of them couldn't make it.. only sista,jx,clem and i managed to go.. amidst the heat of the day i din feel too well though. must have eaten sth bad the day b4.. no idea what.. came down with a fever when i got home. nevertheless, the trip was an insightful one.. with gd company too! maybe i'll bring my mom, sis,(and dad maybe if he wants to) there someday! cuz in the morn my mom commented that i should be bringing my folks there hahaa since she they used to bring us there quite often when we were little:)

clem came over for dinner that nite.. my parents asked if we wanted to join them for dinner at clarke quay.. but i wasnt well enough to.. coz the headache got quite gross. so we decided to stay home as my maid had prepared mee soto. BUT unfortunately.. neither of us could take such spicy stuff (oh i think clem's worse off). my maid cooked porridge for me, and clem was spposed to eat mee soto.. but guess what? clem ended up having porridge too.. hurhur so sad right.

was spposed to have tuition the next morn.. but quite sianed coz i din know when i'll get better. and i can't really miss that lesson cuz i've missed 3 alr(one was the over-sleeping incident, and he wasnt able to make it the following 2 weeks). on top of that, it was the last day of their term break so i had to go thru his hol hmwk.. after much contemplation and indecisiveness, it was decided that clem shall come to my rescue. :D he offered la.. so nice.. and the kid's mom was ok with it.. so yupps! that was his first tutoring experience.. HAHA. u know i had so much confident in him lar esp. when it was math and sci.. but he embarrassed me!! he's gonna get it..

so.. he let the no. be xy.. HAHA.
then he came home and i tried the qn and i got it lor..
how can the no. be xy? i gave it a little thought. let the no. be 10x + y!! 0:-) haha..
anyway he could do in the end la.. just that i was faster!

poor clement must be thinking: sorry lar.. long time nvr touch SEC TWO math alr + sad face :( hahaa im embarrassing him here on purpose de.. for one: cheap trills!, and for two: i had a gr8 sense of satisfaction coz my math is def not as gd as his! to me 10 x 9 can be 99 and one min can have 30 secs. but sec 2 math is so easy lar! still, i would like to express my deepest gratitudes to him.. wld have taken longer to recover if not fer him. thnx.. :)

now i shall relate my embarrassing moment:
i got a call this morn.. it was a private no. so i was pretty sure the caller was my friend, as her house no. is protected and she said she was gonna call me about the booking of air tix this morn. i picked up and said.. "moshi moshi?" with a pretty warm and enthusiastic voice.
then came a moment of silence.. for that i thought it was some prank call.. then on the line i heard a voice. a lady asked, "bu xi lao shi ah".. (it was my tuition kid's mom. she calls me that btw..) zz damn throw face.. anyway she wants me to teach the boy english n geog too..
hai.. u know im not even helping my own sec 2 sis lar.. she's nt exactly doing well + playful + keeps piercing her ears( if anyone can guess how many piercings she's got i give u a prize ) + mixes with.. i shant comment. i'd really like to do sth. seriously. but she's too stubborn.. if she wants i can help her with her work any time lar.. i just wanna do sth to help so i won't feel so useless as a sister.

ok.. i'm still gonna say this. i really really love my family! they are the best. i should be saying this more often man. i have wonderful parents, a good bro, and a now-problematic-but-really-sweet sis. our timespan on this planet is only so much…i'd wanna make the fullest of this time to love my family, spend more time with them, talk to them, listen to them, and cherish every moment with them. my dad really has a way to make me feel like someone.. i got quite upset when i didnt get into biz but after pondering upon what he said, i'm glad.. :) i'll promise i'll be happy in fass! it's really no big deal after all.. and i didnt have to be upset over such stuff. yupps! thnx daddy.. :)
